Dougie took over the Masons Arms back in April 2021 and has settled nicely into pub-life. The Pub offers a warm welcome with cosy rooms, a comfortable and warm environment for you to relax in and to enjoy a craft beer, lagers or spirits.

The Pub is now a Free House and has been refurbished throughout. The Masons hosts many events for all of the family to enjoy; Tiddly Painters; Comedy Hypnotists; Dusty Heels Performance; Clairvoyance; Children’s Parties and many others! Check out the Social Media pages for more information.

Our bar features an extensive range of beers, lagers, and spirits, including a variety of real ales.

Entertainment is available throughout the week, including our Quiz Night which is every Thursday at 9.00pm. Our fully loaded juke box is free of charge on a Sunday, and our pool table is free to play all day Wednesday.


We have four rooms available all of which are en-suite with showers and comprise of: Single Room, Twin Room, Double Room and a Triple Room.

Our Rooms are made up with Egyptian cotton bedding and towels; flat screen TV; complimentary hospitality tray; toiletries; hairdryer and free WI-FI.


Our Function Room is available free of charge for up to 60 guests and is ideal for Weddings, Birthdays, Christenings and more. A refundable deposit of £50 is required at time of booking. Catering can be provided to suit your needs, although you are more than welcome to arrange your own food.
