Dougie took over the Masons Arms back in April 2021 and has settled nicely into pub-life. The Pub offers a warm welcome with cosy rooms, a comfortable and warm environment for you to relax in and to enjoy a craft beer, lagers or spirits.

The Pub is now a Free House and has been refurbished throughout. The Masons hosts many events for all of the family to enjoy; Tiddly Painters; Comedy Hypnotists; Dusty Heels Performance; Clairvoyance; Children’s Parties and many others! Check out the Social Media pages for more information.

Our bar features an extensive range of beers, lagers, and spirits, including a variety of real ales.

Entertainment is available throughout the week, including our Quiz Night which is every Thursday at 9.00pm. Our fully loaded juke box is free of charge on a Sunday, and our pool table is free to play all day Wednesday.

We have four rooms available all of which are en-suite with showers and comprise of: Single Room, Twin Room, Double Room and a Triple Room.

Our Rooms are made up with Egyptian cotton bedding and towels; flat screen TV; complimentary hospitality tray; toiletries; hairdryer and free WI-FI.

The Masons Arms is located just a few minutes walk from Amble marina and the beautiful Northumberland Coast. Known as ‘The Friendliest Port’, you will always find a warm welcome in this area of outstanding beauty.

Enjoy one of the many boat trips to Coquet Island with the RSPB protecting seabird colonies, such as the Puffins and the endangered Roseate Turn.

Amble has a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants – one of which is an award-winning fish restaurant called the Boathouse. Our Bed and Breakfast is within a short driving distance of picturesque towns and villages including Alnwick, Alnmouth, and Warkworth.
