Introduction to the Kitchen @ the Masons Arms

The Kitchen@ The Masons Arms welcome Award winning Chef James Forsyth a Farmer’s son born and bred in Northumberland. James is now business a Partner at “The Kitchen” with Nigel & Amanda owners of the Masons Arms. We are excited to welcome James. James has travelled extensively and brings flavours of his travels to our new and exciting menu. Meat will be supplied exclusively by Peter Forsyth (James’ Brother) from The Amble Butchers who hold the “Produced in Northumberland label” awarded by Northumberland County Council.  We look forward to showcasing our new Menu and our extensive selection of Ales including Real Ale produced by Credence Brewing based in Amble and Rigg & Furrow Farmhouse Brewery based in Acklington.

Sea Salted Potato Skins with Garlic Mayonnaise or Chilli coriander dip £3:95

Italian Meatballs Pomodori, in Chef’s rich tomato sauce served on a bed of spaghetti and parmesan shavings £7:95

Whole Tail Scampi, served with sea salted hand cut chips, salad and a tartar sauce £8:95

Tagine of Moroccan lamb with tomatoes, almonds apricots with a blend of North African spices , couscous of peppers coriander (mild & fruity) £8:95

A gratin of sweet potato, rosemary tomato and garlic topped with breadcrumbs and melted pecorino cheese £6:95
